July 31, 2021 Summer school with Fujiwara no Hidesato!
Tochigi's Busho "Fujiwara no Hidesato" classroom with children and parents!
Fujiwara no Hidesato classroom was held in a great success! We had children and their families gather during the summer vacation to learn about Tochigi's Busho "Fujiwara no Hidesato"!
This even was held in Utsunomiya, Tochigi prefecture. We gathered children and their family to tell them about Fujiwara no Hideato.
The event began with the powerful story telling "Domeki Taiji" by Mrs. Arioka, a member of our association.
Her performance was as great as usual. We could see all of the participant were into the story, and they seemed enjoyed listening to her story telling.
And Mr. Takashi Yamamoto, curator of Tochigi Prefectural Museum gave us the most easy-to-understand class about Fujiwara no Hidesato.
Everyone was really enthusiastic about Hidesato as they were taking notes while listening. As all staffs were impressed. ..
After class,Tochigi Prefectural Museum's official character "Mitan" came to visit the event! we hold the Hidesato quiz with Mitan!
We were surprised that most of participant were answering correct! There were 7 people who have won the special present!
We could see how they participated the event seriously and enthusiastic about knowing Fujiwara no Hidesato. I am truly glad that to know they were interested in.

After the quiz, by Miyako Miyako, a member of our association gave a performance of storytelling about "Hachi no Ki Monogatari". Speaking of the story of Hachi no Ki,
There is a famous word by "Sano Genzaemon", descendant of Fujiwara no Hidesato. It's "Iza Kamakura!".
This was another powerful and wonderful talk with some laugh!
It was the first time for our association to hold an event for younger age. We learn so much out of this experience and we would love to continue holding this kind of event in the future.
