The 4th Member Meet up
We had a social gathering with all the members of the 4th meeting "Hidesatoryu-meet up".
As Typhoon No. 14 was approaching, some members showed up, and it was a fulfilling social gathering!
This time, it wasn't held in the usual conference room, but in a place with a magnificent stage called "Classical Performing Arts Practice Room" at the Tochigi Prefecture Cultural Center!Because ...
Today's main event is a storytelling by two members of our association!
Titled the story of the three cities related to Hidesato ...
The storyteller of folk tales Mrs. Mitsue Arioka gave a lecture on "Extermination of the Great Centipede(Omi no Omukade Taiji)" and "The Story of the Doumeki (a Japanese yokai)"!
and!
Original storyteller Mrs. Keiko Nakagawa, also known as Miyako Miyako, gave a lecture on "Hachi no Ki Monogatari"!
I get goose bumps no matter how many times I see... and that's how much I love about their story telling about Fujiwara no Hidesato.
Every time I feel that the way they speak and their voices have special power to let us see the background of the stories. it was wonderful!
They performed those stories at this gathering today, but
I would like more and more people to see, hear, and experience their story telling!
After the story telling, we shared the activity schedule and some information about Hidesato.
We received new information from some members at the end as well.
We are very pleased that the 4th meet up was held. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of you for your continued support.
